Abstract

It is obvious that reputation is an important factor in the success of any organization, including those working in the field of education. In the era of digital transformation the importance of reputation is not reduced, but the process of its formation and strengthening (as well as protection) acquires a new content. In particular, in the digital era the number of sources of information and communication channels and, consequently, reputational risks grow. It is important to consider that the organization has no influence over many sources of information, but, at the same time, the information in those sources is important for representatives of the target audiences, especially for applicants. On that basis, it is important for educational organizations to make the right managerial decisions related to reputation and brand. The paper studies the practices of higher education institutions in the process of managing reputational risks in connection with the activities of third-party reputational agents. In particular, it is noted that the presence in the ratings at high positions should not be a goal in itself for a university, but a natural consequence of its successful work. Therefore, managerial decisions should contribute to forming the reputation implyed by leadership in educational and scientific spheres, and that work should be carried out in cooperation with reputational agents.

Abstract

The article studies one of the most important mechanisms for sustainable development and innovative modernization of modern enterprises – the reproduction of human resources. The authors, using the example of oil and gas companies, conduct a detailed analysis of that process and highlight its key stages. It is shown that the process of reproduction of the personnel potential covers a set of organizational and managerial measures aimed at identifying both the quantitative needs for personnel and the qualitative individual characteristics of employees, which make it possible to clearly determine the required staffing, rank the personnel and predict its development, taking into account the goals and objectives of the company. The authors determined that the basis of the gradation of personnel potential is a comprehensive analysis of the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the employee, which are concentrated in the so-called “profile portfolio of the employee”. They considered the full cycle of work on the formation of the company’s staffing system and the system for the development of its human resources in a complex and taking into account the needs of specific employees. It is highlighted that modern oil and gas companies are positioned as socially oriented production structures, focused on creating conditions for mobile replenishment of staff needs through the implementation of a detailed and large-scale policy to improve living conditions, social security and the use of free time for employees.

Abstract

The article adresses the key aspects of synergetic management, within which qualitatively new approaches to the organization of modern economic entities are being formed. It is specified that in conditions of instability, crises and paradigm changes, any organization acting as an economic entity should be considered in the context of its social structure, the basic element of which is its personnel – the bearer of individual potential and culture. Positioning an organization as a social system puts forward qualitatively new management tasks, namely the creation of such conditions for the activities of personnel that will achieve a synergistic effect and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of personnel through the integration of the totality of its potential, coordination of processes of self-organization and reproduction of internal resources at all levels. The authors also consider the conceptual characteristics of an organization as a social system, which make it possible to identify critical aspects and structure-forming imperatives of activity that ensure the functionality and sustainability of the organization. The authors indicated that their compilation into regulatory matrices determines the consistency of the actions of the activity subjects and creates the possibility of intensifying business processes through the cooperation of socio-cultural meanings and activity practices.
