The article reveals modern approaches to the definition of selfmarketing. It focuses specifics in implementing the self-marketing strategies in the professional activities of university teachers.
Self-marketing is a process of continuous professional development and self-improvement of teachers, formation and promotion of their personal brand. For university teachers the purpose of active self-marketing is an increase in the competitiveness and market value of oneself and ensuring the stability of their positions in the conditions of instability of the professional intra-university and inter-university labor market. Self-marketing is closely related to the selfdevelopment of the teacher and is realized in the objective need to constantly improve knowledge and perfect professional competencies in accordance with the current requirements of educational programs.
The article reveals the factors of the internal and external environment that determine the main directions of self-marketing as a competitive strategy of behavior for a university teacher. The practice of using marketing tools in professional promotion and self-development of a teacher is analyzed in three positions: “teacher as a researcher”, “teacher as a teacher”, “teacher as an expert”.
The main functions of self-marketing of a university teacher are highlighted: evaluative, information-analytical, corrective, stimulating, image-building. The development and implementation of marketing technologies in professional activities makes it possible to improve the quality of the educational process and ensure more stable positions of teachers in the professional labor market.
This paper highlights the existing need to move from traditional principles and methods of managing the activities of industrial enterprises to completely new, automated and technological management tools, the article also underlines the importance of human resources the in those processes. It considers information infrastructure of an organization at the present stage of development as well as the main trends in the development of business analytics, in particular the development of BI projects. Based on the analysis, conclusions are drawn that the efficiency of economic activity directly depends on the capabilities of digital management and the use of the information resources, with a special role assigned to information and analytical systems that allow integrating data in different directions and influencing the speed and quality of decisions made in the company.
Business development management
The article discusses a significance of the digitalization for the electric power industry, describes the main areas of application of digital technologies in the electricity engineering. It analyses such basic digital technologies in demand in the electric power industry as the industrial Internet of things, digital twins, automated observation and diagnostic systems, automated maintenance and repair systems, decision support systems, augmented reality systems, personal digital interfaces, blockchain and others. Possible options for using various digital technologies in the functional areas of management of electric power companies are considered. The article also discusses the main approaches to assessing the effectiveness of the introduction of digital technologies at the enterprises of the electric power complex, including economic and qualitative methods. It proposes the author’s approach to assessing the effectiveness on the basis of an integral assessment following the study of financial and non-financial factors of the effectiveness in the implementation of digital technologies.
The article discusses the issues of the quality management as a significant determinant of improving the enterprises competitiveness. It is noted that despite numerous studies, the concept of quality in relation to products and services is undergoing changes with social development. The authors also formulated a definition of the enterprise competitiveness, taking into account its multidimensional nature, and highlighted its main indicators. The article says that the introduction of a quality management system significantly contributes to the enterprises and their products competitiveness what makes it possible for them to enter international markets, contributes to the strengthening of their export activity. However, the existing quality management systems also need constant improvement and updating in accordance with the changing conditions and the environment requirements. It is concluded that increasing the enterprises competitiveness in modern market conditions by upgrading the quality component will allow strengthening their positions in the domestic market, expand sales markets, enter international markets and create high satisfaction with the quality among consumers of products.
The COVID-19 pandemic has become one of the main challenges of recent years. Its influence quickly spread around the world and affected all spheres, including the logistics sector, disrupting supply chains. The article discusses how the coronavirus pandemic has affected global supply chains, as well as what new trends have formed on the logistics services market under the conditions of new realities. It also identifies what areas of the supply chains may be vulnerable and what companies should do now in order to minimize the impact of such unforeseen circumstances in the future.
The paper substantiates relevance of teaching a new discipline “Intellectology” in Russian universities and presents approaches to that by the example of Russian State University for the Humanities. The goal is to educate creative intellectuals with a systemic mindset, able to solve the problems of reviving the Russian economy and ensuring its competitiveness. The article reveals the essence of intellectology, its theoretical foundations, provides definitions of the intellectual nature, intelligence, intellectual potential and intellectual capital, as well as outlines some historical examples and technologies for the effective development and use of intelligence at different levels to gain competitive advantages.
International experience
The relevance of the topic of the presented research is caused by the fact that in modern conditions, the analysis of the competitiveness of an industrial enterprise is a complex multi-stage process that requires in-depth knowledge of the object of study, the accuracy and timeliness of the results of which largely predetermine the successful functioning of the entire enterprise.
In the course of the research, based on the study of literary sources, the methodology of analyzing the competitiveness of an enterprise is generalized in order to determine the directions for improving the efficiency of its activities.
Resulting from the analysis of the competitiveness of JSC Mogotex, the following main strategic directions of the company’s competitiveness growth were identified:
1) optimization of the production program of the enterprise taking into account the market opportunities for the sale of products;
2) the development of new sales markets and the organization of a distribution network in those markets, which can contribute to the growth of the export potential of the enterprise;
3) creation of new types of products, including cooperation with other manufacturers;
4) promoting the brand and improving the efficiency of dealers and distributors.
The research led to laying out the direction for a more detailed strategic development of competitive advantages of JSC Mogotex “Optimization of the production program of the enterprise taking into account market opportunities for the sale of products” for which the “Optimal” program was developed to optimize the range of manufactured products for the period under consideration.
Of interest and practical significance is the application of an integrated approach to assessing the competitive advantages of an enterprise, as well as the software product developed in the VBA language for calculating the optimal range of products, which enables using the sales forecast for defining the optimal production structure in order to maximize margin profit.
During recent years the modern World Economy has undergone colossal changes, which were influenced not only by unexpected situations like a pandemic, but also by various factors and trends. The research is intended to make an attempt for considering the long-established trends in international economic relations in a new aspect of current events and economic integration and the overall economic integration of the labour, industries and capital. Now, in the context of a global pandemic, all states and entire regions are subject to integration. Thus, the purpose of the article is to determine the main forms and current trends in international economic relations. In the process of this work were used such a research method as the induction, synthesis, analysis.

The author has carried out a thorough study of theoretical and practical problems associated with integration processes within the EAEU. As rightly noted in the monograph, the problem of studying the patterns and prospects of economic, including energy cooperation between states in the context of the formation of regional economic unions in the post-Soviet space has not been fully studied. In this work, these processes are considered in interrelation, which determines the novelty of the approach used by the author.
