Criteria and indicators for assessing the performance of community management implementation in the international business of Russian organizations

Abstract
The article considers the theoretical foundations for assessing the performance of community management implementation in the international business of Russian organizations. It carries out a theoretical and applied analysis of contemporary literature and the practical experience of Russian companies implementing community management in international activities. The author provides her distinction between the notions of criterion, indicator, and assessment tool in the context of community management. Key success criteria, corresponding indicators, and applied measurement tools are proposed. A classification scheme of those elements is presented, and the differences between them are substantiated. In conclusion, recommendations for evaluating the performance of communities in international practice are formulated, and the role of community management in enhancing companies’ loyalty and competitiveness at the global level is emphasized.
