On the issue of managing the improvement of innovation potential as an element of Russia’s competitiveness at the international level

Abstract

At present, along with natural and labour resources, the innovative capacity of the State plays an increasingly important role in the development of national economic systems. The article rightly notes that innovation potential is a complex concept, and its components, from resources to infrastructure and legislation, play equal roles in implementing the “transformation” of an innovative idea into a finished domestic product that can compete in the international arena. Innovative capacity plays an important role among the factors determining the global position of the state.
The author believes that competent and effective management can contribute to increasing the innovative potential of Russian industries and, accordingly, increasing the level of international competitiveness of our country.
