Abstract

The paper deals with the study of modern approaches to forming international company alliances in conditions of digital transformation and geopolitical instability. The work analyzes key trends including the impact of digital technologies (artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data) on alliance management, development of the hybrid and network cooperation models as well as the influence of geopolitical factors (sanctions, protectionism, changing priority markets).

Based on analysis of industry dynamics (2018–2023) and geographical distribution of alliances, patterns of their formation in different regions (Europe, Asia, North America) have been identified.

Successful and unsuccessful alliances (Renault-Nissan, Siemens-Alstom, Russian-Chinese projects) are considered as case studies, allowing assessment of key effectiveness factors for international partnerships. Research findings can be used by companies when developing strategies for international cooperation and also present interest for further scientific research in global economy and corporate governance areas.
