Abstract

In the current conditions of personnel shortage in the national labor market, the majority of Russian companies face the challenge of personnel provision. One of the directions for its solving is attracting foreign labor to the Russian labor market. The paper analyzes the labor market of friendly countries-donors of labor for the Russian labor market, in particular, countries that are members of the BRICS and EAEU economic associations. The main criteria. The population size, the labor force size, the number of employed population, the level of its participation in the labor force, the employment rate, the unemployment rate, the percentage of skilled workers were defined as the main indicators for comparison. The authors determined the main indicators of the labor market that have the greatest impact on the prospects and feasibility of attracting foreign workers from labor donor countries: the number of unemployed by skill levels, the average wage level, the level of proficiency in Russian, the need to obtain permits for work in Russia. The criteria for selecting the most promising countries in terms of attracting labor of various skill levels to the Russian labor market are proposed.
