Abstract

Availability, types and access to energy resources significantly affect the economic development of particular industries and the country as a whole. The concept of sustainable development entails that the energy system must meet the requirements of balanced economic, environmental, and social sustainability to achieve sustainability.

The Climate Agenda remains a long-term trend, and its relevance is not waning, despite the ongoing transformation of the Russian economy. Responsible development in Russia directly relates to sustainable development and the ESG agenda, and remains relevant in the face of new challenges. Russia is developing all areas and is also improving traditional generation, striving not only to reduce greenhouse gas emissions but to ensure that the impact of traditional generation on climate change is minimized.
