The role of the Belt and Road Initiative in the transformation of the world economy

Abstract
The article discusses the role of the Belt and Road Initiative as a mechanism for transregional cooperation used by the PRC to adapt to modern changes in the world economy. The features of the initiative development from the moment of proclamation to the present are considered to outline comprehensive understanding of the initiative role within the contemporary changes of world economy. Particular attention is paid to the various economic ties between the participating countries that they are building with the PRC as part of the project initiative. The article concludes that the role of the PRC transregional initiative is the framework to shape a complex of regional and transregional ties in various fields between Asia, Africa and Europe.
