В статье проведен анализ роли малого и среднего предпринимательства в Армении. Раскрыты особенности такого предпринимательства в Армении, его масштабы. Анализ развития малого и среднего предпринимательства в Армении дается на фоне обстоятельной характеристики состояния экономики страны. В этой связи выявлены особенности экономики Армении, ее сильные и слабые стороны. Отмечаются сферы экономики, где малое и среднее предпринимательство особенно эффективно, а также его география по отдельным областям Армении. Раскрыто влияние такого предпринимательства на конкурентоспособность Армении. В статье обстоятельно исследуется роль отдельных методов финансовой поддержки малых и средних предприятий, раскрыты более удачные и менее удачные методы для Армении. Особенно большое внимание уделяется экономическому развитию Армении в 2022 г. в целом, и отношениям Армении с Российской Федерацией – в частности. Автор показал, что вскоре после небольшого спада взаимных торгово-экономических связей весной 2022 г. интенсификация диалога Армения – РФ началась достаточно быстро. В свою очередь, это имело весьма позитивные последствия для экономического роста в Армении в 2022 г. По прогнозам автора, у Армении и России имеется очень хороший потенциал взаимодействия, который будет иметь взаимовыгодный характер для обеих стран.

The article provides an analysis of the role of small and mediumsized enterprises in Armenia. It reveals the specifcs of such entrepreneurship in Armenia and its scale. The analysis of the development of small and mediumsized enterprises in Armenia is given against the background of a detailed description of the state of the country’s economy. Thereupon features of the Armenian economy, its strengths and weaknesses are discovered. The spheres of the economy where small and medium-sized enterprises are particularly effective are noted, as well as its geography in certain regions of Armenia. The impact of such entrepreneurship on the competitiveness of Armenia is also disclosed.

The article studies in detail the role of individual methods of financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises, reveals more successful and less successful methods for Armenia. Particular attention is paid to Armenia’s economic development in 2022 in general, and Armenia’s relations with the Russian Federation in particular. The author showed that soon after a slight decline in mutual trade and economic ties in the spring of 2022, the intensifcation of the Armenia-Russia dialogue began quickly. In turn, that had a very positive impact on economic growth in Armenia in 2022. According to the author’s forecasts, Armenia and Russia have a very good potential for cooperation, which will be mutually benefcial for both countries.
